Peter Simpson qualified in 1958 and joined the firm in 1960 becoming Senior Partner in 1995 and is now a founding member of the LLP.
Initially he covered a wide range of work before specialising in Civil and Commercial Litigation, Commercial Conveyancing and Company Mergers and Restructuring. He has also undertaken a number of Town Planning Inquiries and related matters.
Outside the law he has been a Leader of the District Council, Chairman of a College of Further Education and Chairman of a Primary Care Trust.
He was awarded an OBE in 1996.
